Print with Cloudprint
By Aleksi | Permalink |We’ve all experienced annoying network problems with printers, or had ours at home run out of ink (my current home desk printer has been out of ink for months now, sadly) and force us to use other means of transporting media. If you have access to a mobile phone, like most of the civilized world does, then you can thank HP for the ability to print, store, and even share your documents.
For free, I might add.
The service is simple, but can sound confusing. Essentially, you upload, or “print” your documents to the internet, more specifically an HP server, which then assigns it a document code (the location) and the code is then sent to a cell phone. From there, the user can simply use the code to access the document, and print it (granted, you need access to a local printer as well).
Sounds like a great idea, you can read the full New York Times article here.
